How it works

 

Comunitats.org works as a social network geared to knowledge sharing and collaboration around projects that incorporate a time bank.

 

Each person and each project has an associated time bank account that allows them to collect, pay and invest (in projects) using time as currency.

Comunitats allows you to create your knowledge, needs and projects curriculum.

Read on to see the workings of our community.

Sing Up

Sign up for free by clicking on the 'Free registration' button, filling in and sending the application. You will receive an e-mail in order to confirm your account and once done, you can register from the 'Access' button. 

 

 

If you wish, you can use your Facebook account to register faster in Comunitats.

 

 

Add knowledge

 

Create your knowledge curriculum from the section 'My knowledge'. You can post any kind of knowledge you have and are willing to teach in exchange for time. 

 

 

Add needs 

 

Post your knowledge needs from the section 'My needs'. Press the 'Add needs' button to post a new need.

 

 

Add projects

 

Post those projects you have need-to-know requirements. A project can be of many kinds: business plan creation, research, development, culture, etc.

 

Go to 'My projects' and click on the 'Creare project' button.

 

 

 

 

 

Follow people

 

 

Follow people by clicking on the 'Follow' link and display on your wall news related to the person you are following.

 

 

Follow projects

 

 

Follow projects by clicking on the 'Follow' button and all the news related to the projects you follow will appear on your wall.

 

 

Place an order

 

 

 

Send an order

 

 

 

Check Order Status  

 

To see the list of the orders you have made to other people and are still unanswered, click on the link 'Sent orders'.

 

 

 

Pay for time

 

To pay for an exchange you have made you have to go to the 'Bank' section of your Comunitats account, find the order you want to pay for, indicate the time to pay at the cash desk 'time to pay' and click on 'Pay'.

 

 

 

Rate the exchange

 

 

Once the payment has been made you can rate the quality of the exchange.

 

 

 

Place an order to someone who's offering help

 

If someone offers help, you will receive a message in Comunitats with a link from where you can place your order.

 

Click on it to make an order in response to the offer you have received.
